I am the proud Founder & CEO of Soapberry Properties. 

Having managed my own long term rental properties, I know of the many frustrations that come with managing a rental property. These frustrations and sources of stress came from tenants not paying rent on time, damage to the investment property and having to undergo extended and expensive repairs, and trying to find a quality person to stay for the long-term. At the end of every tenancy agreement there was always the worry to find an ideal tenant for the property and maintain a steady cash flow, but of course this was not always the case (quite the opposite in fact). 

I wanted to find a solution to these problems, and so I endeavoured to search far and wide for the answer. The results of my search was Short-Term Rentals through travel platforms such as Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, and so on. I had this notion that long-term rentals were more secure and safe compared to short-term rental, but I soon learned that was misguided thinking. In fact, I found that short-term rentals had even higher income potential, and less damage or maintenance coverage. 

I wanted to create Soapberry Properties to not only offer people with amazing experiences when visiting our client's properties and provide the best accommodations to guests, but to also help my fellow landlords to achieve their financial goals and lessen their load of frustrations and stress.
